The boat is in excellent condition.

It is an over-seam round bilge boat, built of Bruynzeel plywood with mahogany layers only. The hull plates are connected by pine stringers. The ship is comfortable and spacious (according to the description up to 6 berths, but in practice two berths for children in the forecastle and two comfortable berths for adults in the cabin) and is an easy sailor. “She sails like an open boat”. The electrical system was completely renewed in 2008. Cover and hood are from 2020 and from 2021. Maintenance list is present. The four-stroke Yamaha outboard, built 2004, is operated from the cockpit and has an output of 8 hp.

There are 3 mainsails (11.4 m2), Two genoa’s I (18.6 m2), one genoa II (12.7 m2), one high aspect, one jib (10.3 m2), one storm jib (3.5 m2) and one spinnaker (42 m2) with chute. The sails are on age, but in good shape. The operation of sails, rigging and reefing is completely from the cockpit. The boat has a furlex furling jib system, for which the genoa II, the high aspect and the storm jib are adjusted. The mast is easy to lower. There is an ST 1000 autopilot from Raymarine. The boat is good to sail solo.

Interior layout

The interior layout is spacious and practical: kitchen against the mast bulkhead and spacious (shelves) in the cabin and under the benches. An extendable spacious navigation table, radio, VHF and control panel. In the forecastle two hanging cupboards and shelves and also an electric underwater toilet. There is a spacious moveable table for in cabin or cockpit.

Maintenance history

The ship is always inside during the winter. The owner has always treated the ship with love and well maintained and it shows! During maintenance this spring 2021, some bad spots were found in the bottom plate. After inspection it was decided, to replace most of the bottom plate. This major repair was done in June/July 2021 at DEEP yachts in Arnhem, the place where the boat was also built in 1978. Also, all joints of the underwater hull were checked for bad spots and repaired if necessary. The keel was sandblasted and preserved. The entire underwater hull was put into the conservation and antifouling. The outboard engine was also thoroughly checked and a new timing belt was fitted.

This beautiful wooden sailing yacht is in very good condition. The ship is very complete and is vacation ready. Feel free to contact us for more information and/or to make an appointment.
