MAHOGANY CLASSIC S-SHAPE CRUISER ”Jan van Hout” – SOLD

A fantastic classic sailboat in good condition, designed by the famous Dutch Kroes wharf and built by Doevedans in 1977, which is a guarantee of quality wooden boats with good sailing performance and nice lines too. Since 1910, they have designed many very nice lapstrake boats.

This seaworthy yacht, with a plywood-painted deck and mahogany hull, is very complete and comfortable. She has a roomy and light deckhouse with standing height, a table, seats, and a random view. The separate front cabin has two berths, a complete kitchen, and a toilet. Additionally, there are two extra berths in the deckhouse.

Always very well maintained at the yard, she underwent a major refit from 2014 to 2017. The latest complete paintwork was done in 2021. Always maintained very well by the owner and the yard, she comes with a Nanni 3-cylinder, 22 HP diesel engine built in 1996 with a fixed propeller.

A complete set of sails, including main, HA jib, genoa, half winder, and storm jib, all in good condition, is included. Every winter, she is stored in a boathouse. The Jan van Hout has made several trips to England and Denmark.
