River Class National Dutch Class
Built to the award-winning design of J. Meier, who won first prize in early 1948 in a KNWV competition for a cabin yacht up to 7 meters in length. The excellent sailing characteristics were already praised at the time. Various versions of this design have been built, with both bermudan and gaff rig. Two versions exist: one with a fixed cabin top (extended for overnight stays) and this original day sailor version with bermudan rig.
