RIVER CLASS National Dutch class

Mahogany day sailor designed by J. Meier, winner of a contest by the KNWV in 1948. Lap strake mahogany on oak frames and plywood deck, mahogany cockpit and cabin. This boat was chosen because of her pretty lines and very good sailing capacities. This design was built in two versions, one with a fixed Sprayhood and one with a small cabin with two sleeps. Be useful for weekend trips or holidays. This boat Is in very good condition always maintained very well. Recent repairs are a renewed epoxy covered deck, new rudder, keel bolts, paint system, foresail furling Harken. Like new set of sails, a new built in Tohatsu 4 stroke outboard engine. This boat can be sailed with a gaff rig or a fractional square top mainsail. Comes with a recent keelboat trailer and registration documents. Very nice special edition of the River Class performed for single-handed sailing. A must come-and-see for true wooden boat lovers.
